The Trident Tribes Foundation supported the School of Military Journalism program

Recently, certificates were awarded to graduates of an elective course for future military journalists supported by the Trident Tribes Foundation. The training program, held for students of the Military Institute of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, brought together the best experts in the field of military journalism who shared their experience and knowledge with future professionals.

In honor of the past Journalist’s Day, future professionals gathered at the Department of Window. At the beginning of the event, Colonel Yevhen Boyko, Head of the Department of Moral and Psychological Support, congratulated the boys and girls, noting that he sees future famous, very professional people in the audience who are making changes in the country and bringing Ukraine closer to victory.

  • I am very glad that there are people who understand how important it is to take care of the future of such professions as journalism,” Yevhen emphasized the importance of partnership with the Foundation.
“Practical knowledge is invaluable,” emphasized Hulia Pogotova, founder of the Trident Tribes Foundation. – “We will continue to promote the need for such programs and electives.

The training program included lectures on topics such as “Interviews with victims of war crimes,” “The Art of Interviewing,” “Basic Principles of a War Reporter,” “YouTube Development,” and “Wartime Communication Campaigns.” Among the speakers were well-known journalists Danylo Mokryk (journalist The Kyiv Independent and founder of the MocRec YouTube channel), Roman Kravets (Ukrainska Pravda), Anastasia Stanko (Hromadske) and Alyona Romaniuk (Detector Media until 2024, currently a teacher and media literacy trainer).

Particular attention was paid to the practical aspects of military journalism, including ethical issues, preparing for interviews and organizing trips to the war zone. The graduates of the course expressed their enthusiasm for the opportunity to learn from leading experts and noted that the knowledge gained would help them in their future professional activities.

  • I am grateful to those cadets who wanted to take the knowledge. Because knowledge does not come naturally, it has to be taken! And may this talent stay with you, as professionals, for life,” Gulia Pogotova wished the journalists.

It is important that many young journalists could not attend the presentation of diplomas and certificates of completion of the elective, because they were already on a combat mission today.

The Trident Tribes Foundation will continue to support initiatives aimed at improving the professional level of Ukrainian journalists, especially in the difficult conditions of wartime. We believe that quality journalism is the key to truthful public information and an important tool in the fight against disinformation.

We sincerely congratulate the graduates and wish them success in their future work!

“Trident Tribes” donated building materials to create a chapel for the military

Recently, the Foundation joined the construction of a chapel on the territory of the Military Institute of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

The spiritual education of the military plays an important role in shaping the personality and values of the military community. The Trident Tribes Charitable Foundation supports training programs for the military and also cooperates with the chaplaincy service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Military Chaplain Training Center of the Military Institute (VIKNU) gladly accepted our help this time.

“We are building a place where people can learn respect, trust and fundamental values,” – said Denys Gorenkov, junior lieutenant of the chaplaincy service.

Construction materials worth UAH 54,482.63 helped speed up the implementation of an extraordinary idea to bring all denominations under one roof. Any religion now has a place in the chapel.

Hulia Pogotova, founder of the Tribes of the Trident Foundation, thanked Anatoliy Shevchenko for supporting this project, which is being implemented at the Military Institute. She expressed confidence that the signed memorandum of cooperation of all faiths is a great achievement.

“In the near future, it will be a different army! We are proud to be involved in such important changes. It is an honor for us to cooperate with the Military Institute, which educates future officers,” – emphasized Gulia Pogotova.

For the Foundation, this is a very important project – significant changes in the structure and philosophy of our military. The cooperation of different denominations at the Military Institute (VIKNU) is noted as a huge step forward in the formation of a new, more spiritual and united army.

This is not the first time that “Tylovi Khom’yaky” and “Trident Tribes” have joined forces to help the Ukrainian military. Andriy Korobkin emphasized the importance of this delivery, noting that the soldiers of the 43rd Mechanized Brigade, who are on the front line in the East, are in great need of these items.

“We are always happy to support our defenders, especially when they are in difficult conditions. If you need help, we are always in touch,” added Andrey.

This is another example of close cooperation between philanthropists and the military in eastern Ukraine. We hope that further work will be as effective and productive.

The Trident Tribe Foundation handed over a new trailer to the military to strengthen the defense of the sky

The Trident Tribe Foundation handed over a new trailer to the military to strengthen the defense of the sky

The “Trident Tribe” Foundation once again confirmed its reputation as a reliable partner in the defense of the country by handing over a brand new trailer to the Ukrainian military, on which our resourceful guys have already attached a Browning M2 machine gun. This thing will help scare away not onlyShakhedi“, but also any other unwanted flying objects.

The Browning M2 machine gun, or, as it is also called, “Ma Deuce”, is already a real old-school weapon. It was developed at the end of the First World War, and since then it has become almost iconic.

Caliber: 50 BMG (12.7×99 mm)

Weight: 38 kg (58 kg with tripod)

Length: 1650 mm

Rate of fire: 450-575 rounds/min (M2HB), 750-850 rounds/min (AN/M2), and even 1200 rounds/min (AN/M3) is an impressive rate for such an “old school”.

Muzzle velocity: 887 m/s (M33 Ball) — like a rocket!

The Browning M2 is used to combat infantry, unarmored and lightly armored vehicles, as well as destroy boats and aircraft at low altitudes. He managed to visit many wars, from the Second World War to modern conflicts, such as the war in Iraq and our struggle with the aggressor.

So now our military has another powerful tool to protect the skies. The Trident Tribe Foundation will continue to support our heroes so we can sleep easy knowing our defenders are equipped with the best technology.

Delivered Medicines to the Assault Troopers of the 80th Brigade

Delivered Medicines to the Assault Troopers of the 80th Brigade

Assault troopers are always at the forefront of the attack. They are often the first to take the hit. They are always involved in historic events: counteroffensives, liberations, and clearing freed territories of enemy remnants – this is primarily the work of assault brigades.

Naturally, an assault trooper must be physically fit and highly mobile. To ensure their mobility and support their health, the Tribes of the Trident have teamed up with the “Rear Hamsters” and loaded vehicles with the most needed medicines.

Andriy Korobkin, volunteer of “Rear Hamsters”:

Today, two vehicles from Britain have just crossed the border. One is a Mazda pickup and the other is a Pajero Sport, which we bought for our wards. We’ve been helping them for years – the 80th Brigade: Lviv residents, assault troopers. They are currently clearing the outskirts of Bakhmut. They are in that area.

So now we will distribute the medicines between the two vehicles and head east. The Tribes of the Trident Foundation is very grateful! Thank you for your support! Glory to Ukraine!

Of course, the pioneers have already received everything, opened it, and are using it as intended. They have cleared themselves of viruses, strengthened their immunity – now they are bringing order to the outskirts of Bakhmut.

Together – to VICTORY!
