Finally, I can tell you – on October 18, 2022, the project that I have been working on for more than a month officially started. During this time, I have called some of you, told you about it, and sent you information, but most of you are not yet aware of it. So I’m revealing all the cards, because today you will see everything in the media.
Together with the initiative team, we set out to TRO to pump up the trucks. And not just any cars, but four-wheel drive military trucks, which are sorely lacking at the front. GAZ, URAL, APC, ZIL, KAMAZ – all of them can perform tasks that civilian jeeps cannot.
The project is called Tachka for TROkachka, and it was created to help the Ukrainian army, namely the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the official support of the command.
The urgent need at the front is 4000 of these military vehicles. It is calm here. Do not let the number scare you, because the most interesting part is coming. These vehicles are here! When I realized the need, I also immediately thought about buying one. But the prices for such cars are out of this world. But it turned out that these vehicles are actually right under our noses – in the storage warehouses of the Armed Forces. Yes, they need to be repaired. But the cost is not comparable to buying them – repairing one military truck currently costs us $2500-3000.
I repaired the first 7 vehicles at my own expense, sent them to the front line and made sure it worked! Now we have already repaired 17 vehicles together with Regno and Roman Gorodetsky. And recently, we have new cool partners – Trident Tribes, Spirit of America Worldwide, Alterra Group. The Bureviy Charitable Foundation was created specifically to launch this project, so that everything is accountable and transparent. The PR support for the project is provided by the UK communications agency. We need business partners, service stations, spare parts suppliers, and media partners.
